For users in Nepal, these Terms follow Nepali law (Electronic Transaction Act 2063 and Consumer Protection Act 2075). For users in the United States, the laws of your applicable US state apply.

Any disputes are handled by the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal, or the relevant US jurisdiction.

By using ScomsEats, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the platform.

ScomsEats is a marketplace that connects you with independent restaurants and stores — we are not the seller of your order.

Each seller is responsible for their own listings, prices, availability, and preparing your order for pickup.

Here’s how pricing works:

• Prices are shown in the seller’s local currency.
• Nepal — prices include 13% VAT, as required by the Value Added Tax Act 2052.
• US — applicable sales tax is added at checkout based on the pickup store’s location.
• Any applicable fees are shown clearly before you confirm your order.

When you use ScomsEats, you agree to:

• Be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• Provide accurate account and order information.
• Not use the platform for fraudulent transactions.
• Not resell items bought through ScomsEats without the seller’s permission.

Sellers can’t list, and buyers can’t purchase, anything prohibited by Nepali or US law — including controlled substances, unlicensed firearms, and counterfeit goods.

The platform itself — logos, design and code — belongs to NEAPES Technology Pvt. Ltd.

Content that sellers upload stays theirs; they simply grant ScomsEats permission to display it on the platform.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, ScomsEats’s liability for any dispute is limited to the value of the order in question.
